Having someone to listen to my ideas and actions and bring appropriate focus on why they have been successful or why they need to be more successful. I know that I will receive honest feedback where business decisions may seem a bit challenging or radical, whilst maintain balance checks and controls. Although I function well alone, I function best in teams and having had Sandra there to be a sounding board support and friend has been invaluable on a business and personal level. I personally attended the Personal Communication session yesterday. I found Sandra to be very engaging and knowledgeable in her delivery, as a new member of staff I found this session very useful and I confident that I will be able to put what I have learnt into practise in the workplace. I recently used Sandra to design and deliver performance review training for a group of field-based managers around the country. Sandra received consistently excellent comments from delegates, who appreciated her flexible and thought provoking style. As a trainer and facilitator, Sandra brings a creative approach to designing and delivering training and when this is combined with her energy in leading the session it is rare that the session does not meet everyone’s expectations. Christine lived in Birmingham with dreams of finding a job in London and eventually writing screen plays for films. The job she was doing was unrewarding and very unhappy. This is her story of how our service helped her. “I had been applying for jobs within London for over a year and had no joy. The education market has been difficult. When I did get interviews I normally would go to my sister for advice. However, on this occasion, she was on holiday and my interview required me to do a presentation on a topic I knew nothing about. I had 2 days to put this together. I considered cancelling the interview; I was in such a panic. Instead, I decided to cancel everything else, so that I could concentrate on my interview.
